About Chimney Sweep Titan
A Family-Owned Chimney Crew You Can Trust
We are a local, insured and bonded chimney company based in Batavia, built on 27 years of hands-on experience and one simple promise: treat every customer the way we would want our own family treated.
Meet Steve Ryan, Founder & Owner
Steve Ryan started sweeping chimneys 27 years ago and never looked back. What began as a job became a craft, and eventually a company. Today Steve leads the Chimney Sweep Titan crew as founder, owner and working team leader, training every technician to the exact standard he holds himself to.
Steve built this business on a value that is easy to say and harder to live: do honest work, and tell people the truth about their chimney even when it costs you a sale. If your chimney is fine, we say so. If it needs attention, we show you why, in photos, and let you decide.
A husband to Lisa and a father of three, Steve understands that a chimney is not an abstract system. It sits right above the room where your family gathers. That is why every job is performed to NFPA 211, the national standard for chimney and venting safety, and why nothing leaves our checklist half-finished.
In 2025, that approach earned Chimney Sweep Titan recognition as the Best Chimney Sweep Company in Illinois, an honor we are proud of and work hard to keep living up to.
